Angela House is a community based nonprofit that provides rehabilitative services to formerly incarcerated women. Women learn the skills needed for independent living and obtain the resources to shed behaviors that led to their incarceration. Each program offers individual and group therapy, medical and mental health care referrals, dental and vision care, job readiness training, twelve-step recovery groups, and emotional and spiritual support. Residents entering Angela House get help from a case manager and therapist to create an individualized plan for their therapy and well-being needs.

If you would like to apply, please send us a letter containing a brief bio and reasons why you are interested in Angela House to or to our mailing address. Women who are currently incarcerated, on probation or on parole, and are looking for transitional housing may apply to be a resident at Angela House. Angela House is not an emergency shelter and does not accept women who have not applied and been accepted before their release from incarceration.
